Officer Bios

Hello! My name is Taleen McOmber, and I am excited to serve as your chair for the Historical Security Council at the 2026 MUN Conference. I’m a senior at Trinity Hall, and I’ve been involved in MUN since my sophomore year, where I first discovered my passion for policy and debate. In addition to MUN, I’ve also participated in CONA and NJ YAG. My Armenian heritage also plays a significant role in shaping who I am, which is why I volunteer at a center dedicated to educating the public about the Armenian Genocide. Outside of civic engagement, I’m a cross-country runner and a Girl Scout Ambassador, and in my free time, you’ll likely find me hanging out with friends or binge-watching Netflix shows. History has always been my favorite subject, so chairing this committee is especially exciting for me. My goal for this conference is to help you grow as public speakers, critical thinkers, and individuals ready to address today’s complex global challenges. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you in January!
