Officer Bios

Hello delegates, and welcome to the 2027 conference. I am honored and grateful to have the opportunity to serve as your Historical Security Council officer this year. This will be my second year in this program, and I hope you are just as excited for this weekend as I am. I am currently a junior at Infinity Institute in Jersey City, New Jersey. Outside of MUN, I am also involved with YAG, Debate, and Student Council. I also edit Wikipedia articles frequently, so there is a fair chance that you've stumbled across an article edited by me. In my free time, I like working on my conlang, cartography, and reading books. My favorite books include the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Bone series by Jeff Smith. My favorite superheroes include Daredevil and Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire's live-action version is my favorite). My favorite movies include the Lord of the Rings trilogy (I love LOTR, if you haven't figured already) and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. History has been my favorite subject for as far as I can remember, which has also led me to writing articles for magazines, focusing on topics surrounding the World Wars and the Cold War era. This year, my goal for this committee is for all of you to grow not just as public speakers, but also as humans. I hope that with this opportunity, each and everyone of you can have a weekend where you spread knowledge, gain knowledge, and most importantly, have fun.
