Officer Bios

Hi delegates! My name is Sabine Mauras, and I am one of the co-chairs for the International Court of Justice at this year’s Model UN conference. I am currently a senior at Westfield High School, and this is my fourth year in MUN. In addition to MUN, I am involved in YAG, mock trial, and debate, but MUN holds a special place in my heart and remains my favorite. My favorite pastimes include reading, rewatching Grey’s Anatomy for nostalgia, playing the violin, and learning languages. MUN has given me so much and helped me grow as a thinker, collaborator, and as a person. I am so excited to help you all gain the invaluable experiences MUN has given me by being your chair. I understand how intimidating public speaking can be, but I promise that taking that first step and raising your placard will make you love this conference. I can’t wait to see you all in committee!
