Officer Bios

Hello Delegates,

I am Benjamin Koshy, the chair for the Social Humanitarian & Cultural A committee. I am in the graduating class of 2027 at Montgomery Highschool and I am currently also Officer/ Attorney for our schools Mock Trial team, and a Marching band Sousaphone (Tuba) player. I am very passionate about public speaking, humanitarian issues and Lego.

Model U.N. means a lot to me personally because it is a place where I have been able to debate and speak on a lot of important topics that students like you or I might be very passionate about. It is a place where anyone's voice can be not only heard, but amplified and understood by a room full of your peers with similar passions.

When I first started Model U.N. my sophomore year I was admittedly pretty nervous about going into committee but now after just a few years of Model U.N. I can proudly say that I am very happy I decided to be a part of this community and I hope that many of you reading this will also end up growing and learning as much as you can from this year's conference as possible.

The other officers and I are always available to answer questions, help you out with things like your GRP’s or in general just be someone to talk to in the conference. The number one thing I will tell anyone coming to the conference is to just breathe and do your best to get speaking.

I cannot wait to see all of you guys in the 2027 conference!
