Officer Bios

Hi delegates! Welcome to YMUN 2027! My name is Alex Piergiovanni, and I am so excited to be one of your Officer Co-Chairs for General Assembly B. I am a senior at Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, New Jersey, and since this past year was actually my first year doing Model UN, getting to be here in this role feels especially exciting. Outside of Model UN, I stay really involved at school. I am the Vice President of my Drama Club and NJ Thespian Troupe #6657, an NJ Thespian Festival Ambassador, an active member of NHS, part of my school’s Principal Leadership Committee, a gifted and talented dancer, and a varsity cheerleader. I am also involved in Drama Club, Choir Club, Dance Club, and NJDFL. I have been dancing for 14 years, doing theatre for 5, and I was also a former assistant choreographer for the Miss New Jersey pageants. When I am not busy, I love going to the beach with my friends, shopping, thrifting, listening to music, and hanging out with my four cats. One quote I love by SZA is, “Some people are gonna hate you for no reason and you’re going to shine regardless,” so my advice is to spread your wings, be your own star, and really go for it this weekend. I cannot wait to meet you all and see everything you bring to YMUN 2027!
