Officer Bios

Hi delegates, and welcome to MUN! My name is Akshaya Ramasubbu, and I’m a senior at Montgomery High School. I’ll be one of your General Assembly A chairs for the 2026 MUN Conference, and I’m excited to meet all of you! At school, I’m involved in volleyball, FBLA, HOSA, Science Olympiad, and, of course, Model UN. Outside of school, I serve my community as a certified and licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). In my free time, you’ll often find me tackling the New York Times games (Connections is my favorite), grabbing a bite at Chipotle or Playa with friends, or binge-watching Chicago Med to unwind. MUN has had a huge impact on my life, and I hope it will be just as meaningful for you. It’s a great opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, take risks, and engage in thought-provoking discussions, all while growing as a speaker and a leader. While the conference lasts only three days, the lessons you learn and the confidence you gain will stay with you long after. I encourage you to make the most of this experience, and can’t wait to see you all in January!
